We have been away at a lovely hotel.I played golf and my lovely wife was at the spar and the pool.
I have collected all my poems in one place and I think that I will put them in a book.
That's half term over and I will be back to work on Monday. so back to normal from then.

holiday

At long last half term aqnd time for a break.I have got to clear the spare bedroom to turn it into a bathroom.Good old george is going to do the plumming.I will do the sparks.

Monday

Well after friday I have decided to step back and not get too invoved at work. It seems to be working.It is not my place to police the budget and if they want to spend it thats up to them.I can see thart there will be a night of the long knives again next year if they keep spending as they are.

The weekend

Thank god its the weekend.I have realy pushed it this week maybe a bit too much.I am very sore and uncomfotable.We are having big problems at work.It seems that we are repeating the same old problems as my old company.People just arnt taking responsability for there actions.sad to see the best people feeling that they have too leave.

Its been a few days

Its been a few days since my last entry.We ha d Kate's birthday celebrations and tony and pats birthday.Gerry and Jane came over and had Sunday lunch at dale hill.Monday was her real birthday and she had the day off and I came home early.I cooked prawns and garlic butter for supper.
I went to the doctors and he was happier with me and i do not have to go back for 4 weeks.
This week has been manic and so busy and I am feeling very run down.i have got mouth ulcers some thing I never get.

not well today

It has been a bad day for me today.I feel about as bad as I did when i came out of hospital. My stomach is sore and painful. I think that I have just done too much. Work is very pressing at the moment. today I mad a great risotto, mushroom and followed this with caramel apples and custard.Well that's it for today i feel like shit and i cant be bothered.Will be back tomorrow.

Watching the hunt

I am catching up on my midsomer murders.Watching the one about the hunt.I remember the hunt when I was a young lad .I used to spend lots of time on a little farm in Higham on the hill and the hunt used to start in the local pub.

The flash of scarlet.

The horn sounds shrill toot toot

The dogs are a go

Running panting on the chase

The flash of scarlet, chasing the flash of rust.

The fox is a running cheeky flick of the tail

The rider’s gallop poling along,

in tow of the dogs

They race forward on the scent

Toot toot the master sees the fox

Toot toot the chase is on

Toot toot the fox looks on

The dogs run away

The riders chase the dogs

The fox looks on.
